This is pretty much the truth. I was once intimidated to get into Doctor Who because of exactly this reason. Then I turned on the first season that had Matt Smith in it (the current Doctor) and even though I didn’t ALWAYS know what was happening I’ve basically gotten the gist of it, and I really like the show.
